Sweater Weather

Ryen's favorite outfit is no outfit. ...But if she has to choose something to wear it is always her whale sweater. That was great during the colder fall and winter months, but in June things get a little tricky.

Sisters

Ryen adores her little sister, Madelyn. I love to watch them together. They are so tender with each other and there is just so much love in the way they interact. They couldn't be more different- which is part of what makes them exactly what the other needs.

Wild Animals

It's all about the animals around here. Ryen is a total animal lover. Her favorite toys are these cheapo little animals we got in a bag for 88 cents at Walmart. She also adores her Schleich animal collection. Every time she gets enough money in her allowance, she begs us to take her to Target so she can pick out her next little creature. Yesterday it was an elephant. You'd think it was made of gold. The time before that, she picked a white horse and a little lamb. But the favorite of all is still Joey- her little kangaroo. She acquired that fella with her Grammy's birthday money. Our house is full of wild animals!

Difficult Subject

Ryen is so photogenic, but it's really difficult to take her picture. She is a busy girl. Sometimes I just get lucky though. I've found that trying to make her look at the camera or pose for pictures is useless. I have to just let her do whatever it is she's doing and then work around that.

Miss Ryen Olivia is the Queen of Everything. She is a diva with style and a nose for disaster. Aliases include, but are not limited to: Stinkerbell, Brutis, Monkey, RyRy, Buffy, Ryno, and Roo. Ryen loves books, church, being outside, squeeling, chocolate, animals, friends, and the beach. Her favorite movies are Little Einsteins, Blue's Clues, and Dora The Explorer. She loves music, singing, and getting jiggy with her bad self. Ry's favorite places to go are church, the park, and to her friends' houses.
