Wow. Well, this first picture pretty much sums it up. Ry has a runny nose right now (we think it's allergies). We just wanted her to try, so we'd send her out on the field and she'd just cry and scream, "I'm too sick to play! I have boogers!"
I'm sorry to say this picture here captured the low point. Ryen was standing right in front of the goal when the ball started coming her way. Instead of scoring, she ran behind the goal and hid. Poor girl. She was so miserable. At least Madelyn had fun! (See her grinning in the top left corner?)
It was as hard to keep Maddie off the field as it was to keep Ryen on it. She was determined to be out on that field with her big sister!
The Purple Pandas are awfully lucky to have such a fantastic (and good-lookin') coach! After the game (we won, by the way) we took Ryen out to celebrate "giving it your best." Yaaaay for Ryen!
